Health: Health has historically been defined as an absence of disease and general well being by the medical and mental health sciences. The level of health or measuring variation in activity has not been taken into consideration.Yoga looks at health from holistic perspective. The flexibility of the physical body and our emotional ability to adjust and adapt to the present movement has always been main focus. Yogis give example of a child whose body is so flexible that the child can put his toes in his mouth. Socially and emotionally so pure and innocent, a child respond the same way to anybody’s call, plays with everybody and smiles to everyone. And as we grow, we lose the flexibility and adaptability of the body and purity of mind. We become physically stiff and mentally rigid. The goal of yoga practice is to helps us to maintain our childhood body and mind.
